Keeper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): The Hammers were close to being trailing by six at Bournemouth if it wasn't for him. Massive moment, rose to the occasion and showed some quality. Some top goalkeeping to secure a 2-2 draw. A loss could have dismantled their campaign.

Defenders

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's up there for player of the season. Many discuss Arsenal's squad. He's been the top performer by a country mile.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): One would need to be a mad supporter to say 'He scores and we'll beat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You could have gotten long shots on that. He shone. He is turning into a dominant figure. He proves to be a tough opponent. Delighted to watch him perform like last season.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I saw him several occasions last year in Italy for AC Milan and he had difficulties from his faults. But at Newcastle he's been dominant. He's been great strength and powerful and seems polished. It appears he has discovered a spiritual home.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not typically a defender, more of a contemporary style in attack. He has proven to be a wonderful signing for Brighton. Who would be surprised at them unearthing more talent from obscurity? Many felt when they got rid of Pervis Estupinan it was odd but Brighton know more than us.

Engine room

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Alike in style and they're in for the same reason. Their teams won, many mention about the goalscorers, but lacking these players the squads falter. They excel. They halt attacks, they attack together.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The standout performer. Numerous supporters, such as family members, had doubts about his ability as the man to secure victory. A hat-trick in the key match and now they want to erect a monument of him. Scoring, calmness, he controlled the game. The standout individual on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Possibly the only point of agreement with Thomas Tuchel on - he is at a point now where it will prove quite challenging to leave him out. I didn't think he had a great start the term, I believe he was a little bit entitled and thought he maybe secure a transfer to Chelsea, and likely desired it, but he seems to have settled down. Two superb finishes clearly versus Leeds dragged his team from a deficit. He made the impact.

Attackers

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I mentioned he appeared not his usual standard. He looked like his pace had gone. But wow. Simply phenomenal. He performed superbly. Outstanding in his movement and with his two finishes.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A really interesting player. He excels, usually better as a substitute, but Anthony Gordon has an injury so he is required to feature. He failed to convert a key opening against Manchester City at 0-0 with his simplest attempt. However showing the mental fortitude to enter into difficult situations and net two was impressive.

Boss

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He steps in and beats Arne Slot. A wonderful gameplan. Possibly it was several more for Forest and all would agree.
