Emerging athlete preparing for major tournament

Kai Trump will have plenty of high-profile supporters as she begins her professional golf debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, obtained a special exemption to play at the Annika competition in Florida.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, operates numerous international courses and frequently matches against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she revealed.

The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He practically suggested to go out there and have fun," she added.

"In my eyes, he's simply a regular grandfather. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, making him quite busy."

As an amateur, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions this year and has the 461st position in AJGA standings.

But she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He stands as the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.

"And he's a more impressive individual. He suggested me to go out there, relax, following whatever happens."

Kai will face several most prominent players in professional golf at the competition, including second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

The LPGA stated that involving Kai helps introduce golf to new audiences, particularly reaching the next generation.

The young star maintains millions of followers and has started a personal fashion and living label.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
