A number of individuals sustained injuries following a Delta jet from Los Angeles to Sydney encountered rough air on Friday morning.
The flight, numbered 41 "experienced a brief period of turbulence" as it made its approach and landed at Sydney Airport, a representative for the carrier told. A number of the onboard staff sustained injuries.
Emergency medical services stated they treated a total of five people, and transported three of them to a medical facility with non-life-threatening injuries that such as spinal discomfort and head pain. Those affected ranged from their 30s to 70s.
